Millyard BPR FAQs

Q: When is this year’s race?

A: TBD 2021. Hope you can join us!

​Q: Where should I park and how do I get to the staging area or viewing area(s)?

A: Athletes should park at the Millyard Technology Park.

Q: Is it possible to pick up race packets the day before the race?

A: Yes. Pre-race day packet pick-up will be
TBD - time and date place TBA. You can also pick-up you race packets on the morning of the race between 7:30am and 8:30am near the starting line.

Q: Where is race-day registration and number pick up?

A: There is NO race day registration. Registration closes TBD. You can pick-up race packets near the starting line between 7:30am and 8:30am on race day.


Q: Do I need to pick up my race packet before I drop off my boat?
A: YES! Each packet contains race numbers for your boat, paddle and PDF/life vest as well as for your bike and helmet. These must be placed on each item so you can identify them as yours at pick-up.


Q: I don't have a boat, can I rent one?

A: Yes! Check out Nashoba Paddler, which can handle day and weekend rentals from nearby Groton. Rental quantities are limited so reserve in advance.

Q. I don't have a bike, can I rent one?

A. Yes! Goodale's Bike Shop has bikes available for rent. Rental quantities are limited, so please reserve in advance.


Q: Is there a race photographer?

A: We hope to have a race photographer. Stay tuned for more information.

Q: Where are the restrooms and portable toilets?

A: There will be portable toilets at the start/finish areas as well at the Transition Zones.

Q: How many aid stations are there, and what will be available?

A: PrideStar EMS will have a tent at the start/finish line.

Q: Will there be water stations on the race course?

A: There will be water stops conveniently located throughout the course.

Q: Is there a place for racers to warm up and/or cool down?

A: TBD

Q: What refreshments will be available after the race?

A: Food and hydration available after the race at the Finish area.

Q: Are strollers allowed?

A: No. Our insurance strictly prohibits the pushing of strollers by participants.

Q: What about changing and showers?

A: The Millyard BPR, like most races, does not have showers available for runners. You may change in the restrooms before or after the race.

Q: What is the best plan for spectators?

A: The Millyard BPR offers many great options for spectators. For the Bike, we recommend viewing from the Lull Farm or Brookdale Farms in Hollis (grab a pie while you're there!) For the paddle, you can watch from Millyard Technology Park or anywhere along the run course (just leave room for runners!!). For the Run, spectators can watch from anywhere along the course. Bring your mountain bike and you can see several sections of the Bike, Paddle and Run in relatively close proximity.

Q: Where can I learn more about the Nashua Riverfront and Mine Falls Park?

A: We're glad you asked! There are some great websites to check out: Downtown Nashua Riverfront Development Plan and interactive map and the City's website on Mine Falls Park. You can also check out the Nashua Canal Trail in Mine Falls Park. There are also a few Facebook pages about Mine Falls Park.


Q: What’s the weather going to be like?

A: Hey – this is New Hampshire. Could be 60s, could be 80. Typically, expect mid-60’s and hope for warmer.

Q: How does the team competition work?

A: There are nine categories of team: adult, senior and youth - male, female, and co-ed. Teams consist of 3 athletes each performing one leg of the event - winner by total time for all legs.

Q: Will there be finisher’s medals?

A: What is this, little league? Win, place or show in your race category for a medal.

Q: Do I at least get a shirt?


A: Absolutely! Tech t-shirts (and women’s cut shirts this year too) guaranteed if you register before May 15th. After that shirts may be available for purchase ($15.00) while supplies last or by separate order.  NOTE: Shirts run large.
